I had heard of Google Adwords before, however by creating the process model it made alot more sense in terms of understanding the flow between the user and google.Basically Google invites advertisers to bid on their chosen keywords that they believe may be typed into the Google search engine while searching for specific info. Once a business owner or company or whomever the advertiser is, bids on a keyword; and if the bid is high enough, their intended ad that is specific to their company will appear on the google search result page for that specific keyword. Also along the right side of the page as well. So once the ad appears on the search page and a user ends up clicking on the ad and being directed to the advertiser or business owner's intended website, then at that point they will be charged per the bid amount.
Basically the advertiser will pay for the traffic that will be directed to their website not for the ad being just displayed.
I created a basic Google Adwords process model with Bizagi. The process starts with a business owner choosing keywords and goes on. See Model above :)
